Five little snowbirds leave nest for whirl in open, oblivious to fight over finances

Out on the porch of their nursery to catch a few breaths of crisp, winter air, the Dionne quintuplets are oblivious of the fight in the Ontario Legislature to keep their financial affairs confidential. Premier Mitchell F. Hepburn refused to divulge the amount of their various contracts on the grounds he wanted to protect advertisers. The opposition threatened to block a bill appointing a new guardian unless the figures were revealed, but capitulated when it was agreed their leader could examine the contracts secretly. Ready to invade the snowland are, left to right, Cecile, Marie, Annette, Emilie and Yvonne.
