This is a very interesting book. It was written by Lillian Barker in 1951. She befriended the Dionne family in 1935, and was on the parents side ever since. She claims this book to be the truth about everything that happened in those years, but I do doubt some of the "facts" myself since the Dionne quints have written a couple of books of their own, and according to them it was not like this at all. According to Barker, the quints themselves always longed to live with their parents, and were very happy and content once they were reunited. The parents are portrayed as extremely nice people, and Dr. Dafoe and the guardians the opposite. I find it very interesting, since hardly nobody was on the parents' side in those days. It's nice to see their point of view for once.
